Department-wise Technical Assistant / Senior Technician / Technician (indicative): Applied Geology, Architecture & Planning, Bio Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Mining Engineering and Physics. Selected candidates may also be placed in related departments such as IT, ECE, Humanities, Mathematics and Physics as specified in the notification.

✅ NIT Raipur Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:

• Nationality: Indian Nationals only.
• Cut-off Date: Age and educational qualification will be counted as on the last date of online application, i.e. 30.10.2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC (NCL) – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC-NCL), Ex-Servicemen as per Central Government rules, and Departmental Candidates – up to 5 years. 2. Technical Assistant (Pay Level-6) – 13 Posts | Age: Max 30 years

• Department-wise: First Class B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. (relevant branch) OR M.Sc. with at least 50% marks (Geology / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Physics) OR MCA / First Class Diploma in CSE/IT/Metallurgy/Mechanical with first class or 60% in 10th, as prescribed for the specialization.

3. Senior Assistant (Pay Level-4) – 01 Post (UR) | Age: Max 33 years

• Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognised Board with minimum typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spreadsheet.

4. Senior Technician (Pay Level-4) – 01 Post (ST, Chemistry) | Age: Max 33 years

• Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science and Chemistry as one subject, with at least 60% marks.

5. Technician (Pay Level-3) – 15 Posts | Age: Max 27 years

• Trade / department-wise: 10+2 / 10th + ITI (Carpentry, COPA, Diesel Mechanic, Forger & Heat Treater, Electrician / Fitter etc.) OR 3-year Diploma in Chemical / Civil / CSE / IT / Electrical / ECE / Mechanical / Metallurgy / Mining, as prescribed in the notification.
